The Local Guys - Test and Tag are a company who specialise in the service of Electrical Test and Tagging Australia wide!
With over 10 years of experience in this field, we pride ourselves on providing a high level of service for our clients, testing in accordance with Australian standards, AS/NZS 3760:2010.
Electrical safety is something that is very important to us, so in conjunction with test and tagging, we also offer a wide variety of other safety testing. This means we can help to provide a whole package to businesses, ensuring the safety of our client's business without our clients having to go to many other testing companies. Which is very convenient for our clients!
The other services that The Local Guys proudly provide are Fire Extinguisher Testing, RCD Testing, Smoke Detector Testing, Emergency Exit Light Testing and Microwave Leakage Testing & more. This is extremely convenient for many businesses, as they can have all of these services covered in the one go. So not multiple site fees.

WHY US
Becoming a Local Guys - Test and Tag Franchise Partner will allow you to create a more flexible and balanced lifestyle. You are your own boss and you can work from home when you are not physically carrying out on the road testing.
You will be provided and with all the equipment that will enable you to get up and running, including testing equipment, laptop, printers, personal business cards, marketing materials & full sign writing on your vehicle.
On top of all of this, included in the initial fee, is all of the training that you require as well. This includes the one-day course to become test and tagging Nationally Accredited. This course will give you all the tools and information you need to understand the industry, and to be able to test all appliances correctly and to the standard.
You will also spend time at our support centre learning marketing, up sales, business training & where you will learn about many facets of the business. This includes how to use our CRM system, how to run your business in Quickbooks/XERO, how to get new clients and much more. Once completing training at the Support Centre, you will spend a further two weeks doing on the job training performing testing with one of our experienced franchisees. They will take you out with them to all of their jobs, where you will see a wide variety of businesses and how we conduct ourselves at each of them. This will allow you to become extremely confident out in the field.
With all of this training, you will be ready and assured that you can go out on your own and start your business with confidence!
The Local Guys also provide a guaranteed income of $50,000. This will give you peace of mind that when you start out, you know you will be making money from the get go.
You are not required to have an electrical licence or be an electrician to carry out this work. We have a wide variety of opportunities Australia wide!
MARKETING SUPPORT
At The Local Guys - Test and Tag we believe in investing heavily in Marketing for our Franchise Partner. We do this through our professional website, SEO and Social Media as well as applying for large government/non-government tenders.
